Application Tricone drill bits has been in continuous use in the oil & gas industry, and is still being improved! We have a wide selection of tricone bits - there’s a bit for every application. Our product line can be configured to use tungsten car bide insert (TCI) bits and steel tooth bits for the toughest drilling applications. Tricone bits, which some may also call roller cone bits or tri-cone bits, have three cones. Each cone can be rotated individually when the drill string rotates the body of the bit. The cones have roller bearings fitted at the time of assembly. The rolling cutting bits can be used to drill any formations if the proper cutter, bearing, and nozzle are selected. The tricone bits developed and manufactured by JCDRILL are mainly used for large-scale open-pit mining, such as open-pit coal mines, iron mines, copper mines and molybdenum mines, also the non-metallic mines, water well drilling. With the increasing in variety of type, it's also widely used in quarrying, foundation clearing, hydrogeological drilling, coring, tunneling in railway transportation department and shaft drilling in underground mines.
